Description
This Contract involves repair and maintenance (R and M) works on the surface water sewer network in the Dublin City Council Administrative Area. This network comprises piped surface water sewers as well as culverted sections of rivers and streams. Assets on this network are almost exclusively located on public roads or within public open space although some sections of culverted river/stream are located on private property. The range of sewer/culvert sizes and depths on the surface water system in the DCC area is significant (diameters up to 3.7m and depths to invert of up to 15m). With the sole exception of the Grand Canal Tunnel this contract does not include works on any asset owned (or part owned) by Irish Water. The contract does however include works on some DCC assets which receive storm water overflows from Irish Water’s foul/combined sewers. The R and M works to be carried out under this contract include: - Jetting/Cleaning of Pipes/Culverts/Catchpits/Other Structures; - CCTV Surveys - Root cutting/removal; - Robotic Cutting of sewer intrusions; - Patch Lining of sewers and connections; - Confined Space entries to carry out repairs and maintenance, e.g. installation/cleaning of flaps/weir-boards, masonry repointing, manual cleaning/removal of deposits or obstructions, etc. - Provision of Rescue Teams for DCC Drainage Operations’ confined space entries. - All associated works and activities as detailed herein including temporary works, traffic management and waste disposal. . Please note that this project is subject to funding. For further information please refer to documentation available to download from www.etenders.gov.ie Resource ID 2416596.
