Description
Milford Haven is a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) entry terminal located in South Wales with two sub-terminals, Dragon and South Hook. National Grid Gas PLC (NG) proposes to deliver a scheme titled Western Gas Network (WGN) to include both the construction of new and the upgrade of existing infrastructure to increase the physical entry capability at Milford Haven. Lot 1: National Grid Gas PLC (NG) proposes to deliver a scheme titled Western Gas Network (WGN) to include both the construction of new and the upgrade of existing infrastructure to increase the physical entry capability at Milford Haven. This will include engaging competitively appointed provider(s) to deliver the following Detailed Design & Build works: New Infrastructure • 9km of new pipeline between Wormington and Honeybourne and 2km of new pipeline between Churchover Compressor and Churchover Multijunction (Infrastructure Upgrades - for context and information only) • Pressure uprating of the existing FEEDER 28 pipeline between Felindre and Three Cocks and the section from Felindre to Cilfrew • Ancillary uprating works at AGI and Compressors sites In advance of the procurement process, NG will undertake the following activities, utilising third party support as and when required: • Initial design, • Surveys, studies and investigations, • Planning and consents. The outcome of the above activities will be made available to bidders as constraints to the scope/specification provided and to enable any bidder to submit a tender. The purpose of this engagement is to: • Raise market awareness of the potential procurement activities • To provide an overview of the current timeline and programme. • Inform potential suppliers of our proposed procurement, commercial and packaging approach with potential suppliers The anticipated (indicative only) construction value of the (New Infrastructure) proposed project lies in the range of 50 000 000 GBP . NG anticipates that the tender will be issued in June 2022 and the Contract Award is forecast for Q4 2023.
