Early market engagement in relation to Ireland's international subsea telecommunications connectivity programme

The Department of Culture, Communications and Sport ("the Department") in Ireland is conducting this Preliminary Market Consultation (PMC) in relation to Ireland's international subsea telecommunications connectivity programme, to help the Department to develop its understanding of the market and to inform future decision-making. This PMC consists of background information and a questionnaire to allow interested market participants to engage with the Department so that an understanding of the market can be developed. This PMC relates to a Prior Information Notice (PIN) titled "Prior Information Notice for International Subsea Telecommunications Connectivity Programme". The PIN, reference 2026-OJS-057-00197119 (https://ted.europa.eu/en/notice/-/detail/197119-2026), was published on 23 March 2026. A copy of this PIN is attached. The Department invites any interested parties to participate in this process by completing the attached questionnaire and submitting responses electronically through etenders. The questionnaire provides more information on how to participate in this PMC.
