Refuse recycling services

Description

A contract has been signed for the operation of mobile recycling stations. Each year, Fredrikstad kommune [Fredrikstad municipality] implements a bulk waste campaign with mobile recycling stations for households in the municipality. The campaign is implemented during two weeks in spring (April/May). The objective of the campaign is to give households a time limited, local offer for the delivery of source sorted bulk waste in addition to the permanent recycling station at Frevar, Øra. The purpose of the procurement is to engage a supplier to be responsible for rigging and operation of the stations, with all container management and recycling of the waste, except for hazardous waste and any residual waste. The contracting authority will provide assistance to specific support functions such as signage, cordoning and management of hazardous waste, and will provide four customer guides during operation of the stations. Tenderers must be responsible for the establishment of the stations with containers, operation, transport and delivery of the waste factions for recycling.
