CABI Floating Pennywort Biocontrol Expansion

Description

The requirement is for CAB International (CABI) to deliver the first year of a three-year Floating Pennywort Biocontrol Expansion programme. The work will scale up the existing CABI-led biocontrol programme from trial and demonstration activity into a larger, coordinated delivery programme. The project will increase production capacity through expanded infrastructure, including a polytunnel, outdoor pool systems and supporting equipment; support operational delivery through increased collection of floating pennywort, increased production of biocontrol agents, two additional releases at priority sites in England and supplementation or monitoring at five existing sites; and strengthen planning, regulatory engagement, monitoring and evaluation.
