Description
Center for Volatile Interactions is a research center, which aims to characterize and quantify the production and consumption of volatiles by understudied organisms and environments, such as mosses, lichens, soils as well as fresh and marine waters. University of Copenhagen hosts 5000 researchers and 37500 students, and is the oldest university in Denmark. Lot 1: The High-Precision Isotopic Carbon Analyzer will be used for simultaneous measurement of 13C from CO2 and CH4 in ambient air. The instrument will be used in laboratory experiments and incubation studies applying stable isotope labeling of plant, soil and water samples to study the production, consumption and transformations of CO2, CH4 and volatile organic compounds.
