Description
he Health Research Board (HRB) is a state agency that supports research and provides evidence to prevent illness, improve health and transform patient care. The HRB has 61 staff. Our annual budget is in excess of €45m and we manage a research investment portfolio of approximately €200m. The agency is funded mainly by the Department of Health, and Board members are appointed by the Minister for Health. In order to deliver training and related solutions on a more consistent basis and to maximise a potential return on investment, HR is seeking to enter in to a framework agreement with a supplier who can deliver a number of HRB Personal and Organisational Development program (POD) specific activities. Potential activities that will be required in 2019 include: HRB Staff Survey (carrying out of a staff survey as a follow-on action from the previous survey in 2016) Providing a report on trends and outcomes arising from the survey in comparison to the previous one Recommending possible development initiatives Delivering “soft skill” training aligned to POD outcomes Potential activities that are projected to be required in 2020 include: Delivering “soft skill” training aligned to POD outcomes (ie - Conflict Management, Effective Communication, Management Development, Coaching, etc) Potential activities that are projected to be required in 2021 include: HRB Staff Survey (carrying out of a staff survey as a follow-on action from the previous survey in 2019) Providing a report on trends and outcomes arising from the survey in comparison to the previous one Recommending possible development initiatives Delivering “soft skill” training aligned to POD outcomes This framework agreement is for a period of three years. It is to be reviewed every 18 months to ensure effectiveness and suitability. The contracting authority reserves the right to extend the Term for a period of 12 months with a maximum of one such extension.
