Description

Trinity College Dublin request the supply and delivery of a Combined Lapping and Polishing Machine for Trinity College Dublin (TCD). The equipment must have features as a minimum: • Multiple workstations each with a more than 75 mm working surface capacity • Each workstation must have individually controlled sweep function. • A vacuum system for securing samples • User controlled rotary plate speed between 5 and 100rpm with the ability to easily change plates for lapping and polishing • Metered abrasive feed delivery • The ability to program and re-call multi-stage process recipes (e.g. plate speeds; sweep function; abrasive feed rate). • Automatic plate flatness control with sub-micron resolution
