The successful tenderer will be required to provide cleaning services at The Barlow RC High School. The School is looking for a cleaning contractor who will be their partner in excellence, providing a high quality environment in which the students can achieve their potential and in which they can aspire to be the best. The successful tenderer will be required to provide cleaning services at all the buildings that form part of The Barlow RC High School, providing a breakdown of cost for specific buildings. The cleaning service is currently outsourced to a cleaning contractor. Any company wishing to be considered for this contract must be able to demonstrate experience and depth of knowledge in the management and handling of TUPE issues. The contract will commence on 20.2.2017 for a period of 3 years. This contract will be fixed price in nature with the successful contractor working to an output cleaning specification which complies with the British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc) standards. We are seeking a suitably experienced contractor who has current experience of working within the secondary school or College market place, ideally with a strong operational base within the North of England, thus allowing for responsive, contract support and management of cleaning staff. The successful tenderer will be required to formally report each month on cleaning standard performance and operational matters, ensuring the senior management team at the School is fully informed about all issues related to delivery of the cleaning service. The Barlow RC High School is a high performing Catholic school in Didsbury in south Manchester, with 880 mixed pupils aged 11-16. The School was modernised in 2010/12 and they have state of the art facilities available in curriculum areas.
