Research and development services and related consultancy services

Description

The University of Stavanger needs services for the further development of the prototype ‘Vita Nova’ for use in the CLApp research project and intends to enter into a research and development contract with Sopra Steria AS. Based on psychological knowledge, UiS will, in collaboration with the supplier, further develop the prototype of the game application ‘Vita Nova’, which will give youths who do not have work, education or training (NEET) an enforced belief of their possibilities and less anxiety related to challenges. The application will offer tools to break out of an avoidance pattern and into an active orientation with the labour market, preferably with the help of NAV and follow-up services. The further development will be based on the user-involved and interactive prototype ‘Vita Nova’, which is a result of a previous design sprint. The supplier will, together with the UiS and specialists, people in various stages of the NEET programme, therapists and a PhD student, make up the extended research group in the development part of this project.
