X-ray devices

Description

Helse Bergen intends to procure 1 fully digitalised x-ray apparatus for general use in the Radiological Department at Kysthospitalet in Hagevik. The x-ray apparatus will be used for skeleton and thorax photography. Most of the examinations will be small skeletons, hips, knees, backs, stitching and thorax. The equipment must consist of an operator console, motorised ceiling pipe, motorised table and wall bucky, and it must have 2 large detectors, of which at least one must be wireless. The equipment will be assembled in relatively small premises. It is a requirement that the equipment can be placed in the premises in question, and that all the function requirements can be fulfilled without restrictions. Good picture quality, user-friendliness and work flow will be highly emphasised. We are considering to procure a fully digitalised mobile x-ray apparatus (option), which can share loose detectors with the universal x-ray apparatus. The mobile x-ray apparatus will be mainly used for stereo x-ray (RSA), but it must be able to function as a back-up if one of the laboratories is out of action. This means that it must be able to do most orthopaedic examinations and thorax x-rays in the room.
