BAC wishes to establish a maintenance contract with a building contractor to carry out repair and maintenance civil works at each of its facilities, throughout Dublin City and County, as listed below (but not limited to). BAC wishes to establish a contract, which will provide small civil maintenance and repair work. It is envisaged that the value of the contract will be in the region of one Hundred Sixty-Five Thousand Euro (€165,000) approx. per annum, with an even division in value between labour and materials. BAC Locations: Broadstone Maintenance Garage. Broadstone Central Control Building. Broadstone Materials Department. Broadstone Clerk of Works Department. Clontarf Depot. Conyngham Road Depot. Donnybrook Depot. Phibsboro Depot. Ringsend Depot. Summerhill Depot. Harristown Depot. O’Connell St. (Head Office). Earl Place (Canteen and Offices). Dun Laoghaire (Driver’s Canteen). Bray Depot. Skerries Depot. Tallaght (Driver’s Canteen). Any Other locations which arise Services Required The successful tenderer will be primarily responsible for small civil maintenance and repair works which will not exceed the value of Fifteen Thousand Euro (€15,000) excluding VAT per project throughout BAC facilities. The Contractor should be aware that the majority of the callouts will range in value from Two Hundred and Fifty Euro (€250) to One Thousand Five Hundred Euro (€1,500) excluding VAT. The Contractor should have recognised construction certification as a minimum and should have the necessary skills and experience to carry out the works within BAC premises. Small example Civil Works include (but not limited to): • Concrete repairs where the concrete repairs do not form the primary reason for the works. (Primary-cause concrete repairs are through a separate contract). Any disposal cost to be verified by third party dockets. • Manhole/Drainage repairs. • Trench work. • Carpentry. • Plastering. • Stud Wall Partition. • Core holes. • Stripping out / minor demolition. • Blockwork and wall repairs. • Finishing. • Small-scale building works requiring all associated wet trades. A final requirement is for the contractor to demonstrate the skills required for small scale building work elements.
