9005 Servicing and Repairs of Road Trailers

Description

This is a call to competition by IE for the procurement of servicing and repairs of road trailers, fixed price contract. The requirement for the procurement of servicing and repairs of road trailers by IÉ arises from several factors related to the maintenance, safety, and operational efficiency of its fleet of road trailers. These trailers, which are essential components of the intermodal freight transportation system for our internal operations and maintenance, require regular servicing and repairs to ensure they remain in optimal working condition and comply with regulations. Through proper maintenance, IÉ ensures minimising downtime, avoiding negative impact on our operations, and enhancing the overall longevity of the trailers. This requirement is part of IÉ's broader strategy to provide cost-effective, reliable, and safe transportation solutions for our internal operations and maintenance. The following is a general description of the trailers to be serviced and repaired, along with the manufacturers of these trailers. A total of 66 trailers are included in this requirement: - Flat Road Trailer, Ifor Williams - Flat Road Trailer, Aerlite - Box Road Trailer, Ifor Williams Note: The types and quantity of trailers may be subject to modification or addition during the term of the Contract.
