Equipment and services to be provided for the supply of new and replacement Variable Speed Drives (VSD’s), including the supply of spares and parts as required from a maintenance perspective. New & replacement VSD’s supplied shall support the capital investment programme including provision to the UU Motor Control Centre (MCC) and Small Panel Framework Supplier’s under the VSD’s Framework terms & conditions, and to UU Wholesale Water & Wastewater Services. The types of equipment required include the supply of: • Basic 6 pulse chassis type VSD (for incorporation into factory built assemblies by others) plus their accessories • Harmonic-limiting equipment (either inherent within a VSD or supplied as an active or passive filter) to correct an individual or grouped installation of VSD’s. The services required covers: • Harmonic site survey measurement for both pre and post installation • Design of a harmonic-limiting solution covering a project specific application for an individual or group of VSD’s.
