Haugesund kommune [Haugesund municipality] invites services providers to apply for the award of a license for the delivery of assistance hours in the scheme user-controlled personal assistance, to users in the municipality. User-controlled personal assistance is regulated by the health and care services Act § 3-8 cf. § 3-2 first paragraph No 6 b, and with the corresponding rights in the patient and user rights Act § 2-1 d The license award will means that new contracts will be signed with BPA service providers in Haugesund municipality. Currently, approximately 90 000 annual hours of user-controlled personal assistance is delivered by private service providers divided into 19 BPA schemes.
