Description

The CSSF centralises data transmitted by more than 86 000 entities in different formats. These data are distributed in multiple systems (databases...) used by the different business services concerned. The main formats identified for these systems are: relational databases hosted on servers, excel files, access databases. Moreover data repositories are not used consistently across all business services. The reason for issuing this request for proposal (‘RFP’) is to implement a new master data management system (‘MDM’ system). The MDM system will be used mainly for providing authoritative data to the CSSF organisation. The primary focus will be referencing master data and allowing the organisation’s applications and users to share a common master data source. The MDM system will harmonise the data and function as the golden record of all descriptive and reference data across the organisation.
