Newcastle City Council intends to procure works for the replacement of heat meters and installation of M-bus data collection systems across two major residential sites: St Ann's Estate: Replacement of heat meters and M-bus data collection on 258 properties. Estimated value: £1,200,000. Cruddas Park House: Replacement of heat meters and M-bus data collection on 159 properties. Estimated value: £1,000,000. Scope of Works: The project will deliver new heat meters and a centralised M-bus data collection system at both locations, supporting accurate energy monitoring and billing. Procurement Approach: Both schemes will be tendered as a single procurement exercise to maximise efficiency and value for money.
