Description
South Lanarkshire Council's Facilities Services have a requirement to appoint appoint a suitable supplier for the supply, Installation and commissioning of new vending machines and the removal of existing machines using the TUCO DPS for Vending Machine Services (TUCO Ref - CAT11050-TU). The Council required to procure items from the following lots on the DPS: Lot 2 - Food including Chilled Sandwiches Lot 3 - Beverages - Bottles and Cans In reviewing the TUCO DPS tender documents, it became clear that throughout the various lots, the requirement should be procured via Mini Competition. The following mini competitions were published: SLC/CE/23/112 - The Supply, Installation & Commissioning of New Vending Machines and Removal Of Existing Machines - Mini Competition from TUCO DPS for Vending Machine Services – Lot 2 SLC/CE/23/127 - The Supply, Installation & Commissioning of New Vending Machines and Removal Of Existing Machines - Mini Competition from TUCO DPS for Vending Machine Services – Lot 3 As required by TUCO, the intent to utilise the DPS for this purpose was advised to them prior to release to the tenderers. It can also be confirmed that the format of this mini tender was permitted under the DPS rules. All the above Call-Off Contracts are for a one-off purchase. Lot 2: Mini Competition for the Supply, Installation & Commissioning of New Vending Machines and Removal Of Existing Machines - Lot 2 (TUCO DPS) Item 1 - 2 x Crane Shopper 2 (or equivalent) Item 2 - 1 x Merchant Media 6 Touch Food/Snack (or equivalent) South Lanarkshire Council awarded a call-off contract by Mini-Competition under the TUCO DPS for Vending Machines noted in section II.1.4 per the pre-defined selection procedure under the DPS to Excel Vending Limited as they were the Most Economically Advantageous Tender identified and met the Council's requirements. The call-off contract period is a one-off purchase. Lot 3: Mini Competition for the Supply, Installation & Commissioning of New Vending Machines and Removal Of Existing Machines - Lot 3 (TUCO DPS) Item 1 - 8 x Bevmax Media Touch (or equivalent) South Lanarkshire Council awarded a call-off contract by Mini-Competition under the TUCO DPS for Vending Machines noted in section II.1.4 per the pre-defined selection procedure under the framework to Excel Vending Limited as they were the Most Economically Advantageous Tender identified and met the Council's requirements. The call-off contract period is a one-off purchase.
