Description

Removal of existing church boundary retaining wall and pier and erection of new retaining wall and pier using existing bricks and capping stones where possible. Additional information: The job involves work in the Highway, so any contractor will be required to comply with Leics CC regulations regarding licences and qualified operatives. The existing retained soil will be battered back at 45 degrees, the Austrian pine tree will be removed and the wall will be taken down to ground level by volunteers before work commences. The gate pillar will probably not be taken down by volunteers. The cleaned bricks and capstones will be stored for re-use.
