This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) confirmation of contract award notice. This contract has been awarded under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. This contract has now been formally awarded using the competitive process.<br/><br/>Date of contract award: 26/05/2026.<br/><br/>Contract term: 29/06/2026-31/10/2029.<br/><br/>Lifetime value of contract: £105,000.<br/><br/>Conflicts of Interest Declarations have been received and no conflicts have been identified in respect of this award. Lot 1: Birmingham Community Healthcare (BCHC) NHS Foundation Trust has undertaken a procurement exercise to obtain a contract for the Provision of His Majesty’s Prison Birmingham General Ophthalmic Services.<br/><br/>This notice is an intention to award a contract under the PSR Competitive process.<br/><br/>The contract is planned to commence from 29th June 2026 to 31st October 2029 to align with the HMP Birmingham head contract. <br/><br/>The lifetime value of the contract is £105,000 exc. VAT.<br/><br/>This is an existing service.<br/><br/>The Provider being awarded the contract for this is AHSL Healthcare Ltd.<br/><br/>This is a new Provider.
