Description

The University of Bergen, c/o the Department of Clinical Dentistry has entered into a contract for the verification of the functionality of 3D printed bone implants in a sheep model. The University of Bergen, c/o the Department of Clinical Dentistry wants to enter into a contract for the verification of the functionality of 3D printed bone implants in a sheep model. The experimental model to be used is a drilling hole model that allows testing of several bone scaffolds/implants (the first stage). If promising results are achieved, a segmental bone defect model with selected implants shall be pursued (the second phase). The objective of this test is to study the tissue-controlled regeneration of bones in the extremities using bone implants in the form of a 3D-printed implant.
