Direct supply contract for the supply, installation and maintenance of two fully equipped emission test facilities for Light Duty Vehicles

Description

The objective of this call for tenders is to obtain two complete “turn-key” automotive dynamic emission testingfacilities for light duty vehicles. Each of the two facilities shall comply with the requirements laid down in the EU Regulation 2017/1151 and shall consist of: — a climatic chamber (temperature range: -10÷+50 ˚C for the first facility, +14÷+50 ˚C for the second facility), — a 4 WD chassis dynamometer for light duty vehicles, — a complete exhaust emission measuring equipment complying with the requirements laid down in the EU Regulation 2017/1151, — General safety systems (vehicle position sensors, fire prevention, emergency stop, gas detection sensors,...). The two new facilities will be installed in a new building to be constructed by the JRC. All tenders will need to include the civil works and infrastructure necessary for the installation of the facilities in their offer. In addition, the supply shall include: — a soak area for the conditioning of the vehicles with its air conditioning/ventilation system, — the control room(s) of the emission test facilities, — the room housing the emission measuring equipment (“emission room”) with its air conditioning/ventilation system, — the air conditioning and heating system in the working areas beyond those already listed above (vehicle preparation, storage areas, technical areas).
