London Borough of Sutton requires the supply and installation of automatic air quality monitoring equipment at various locations within the London Borough of Sutton, specifically at the Wallington, Beddington Village and Beddington North monitoring stations. The aim is to enhance the Council's air quality monitoring capabilities, providing accurate and real-time data for environmental assessment and public health initiatives. Prospective contractors are invited to submit proposals that meet or exceed the specified requirements. General Requirements: All equipment supplied must be new, fully compliant with relevant UK and European standards for air quality monitoring (e.g., MCERTS or equivalent), and come with a minimum 12-month warranty. Installation must be carried out by qualified and experienced personnel, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations. The contractor shall be responsible for all necessary works directly related to the installation of the monitoring equipment and enclosures, excluding the provision of the concrete plinth and a primary power supply to the immediate vicinity of the new locations, which will be provided by the Council. All costs should be itemised, detailing the purpose and individual cost of each component. A comprehensive operations and maintenance manual for all supplied equipment must be provided. A site visit to one or more of the monitoring stations to which this specification relates can be arranged on request.
