Supply and Delivery of Phonak FM Systems

This contract covers the supply and delivery of hearing aid technology for South Lanarkshire Schools. Children with hearing impairments use hearing aids and/or cochlear implants to help them hear in everyday life. The optimum listening distance through these instruments is approx. 6ft, after that distance the sound quality reduces dramatically. Moreover, they do not work well in background noise and classrooms are noisy places. Lot 1: This contract covers the supply and delivery of hearing aid technology for South Lanarkshire Schools. Currently, 74 children in schools use personal FM systems and each pupil requires one transmitter and two receivers. This is in an increase from 18 children, in 2020.
