Description

Bergen Municipality, the Agency for Urban Development hereby invites tenderers to a contest for an engineering design group contract for the projects D0440 Sandbrekkevegen residential centre and housing + H0590 Midtunvegen shared housing. The Agency for Labour, Social Care and Housing (BASB) has given the Agency for Urban Development (EFU) the task of constructing shared housing at Midtun. A combined building with a residential centre and municipal flats is to be constructed in Sandbrekkeveien. Both the shared housing and the residential centre will have a personnel base for 24 hour operations. The total scope is 25 residences, split between two sites. The total gross area is approx. 3 500 m2. The assignment involves parallel engineering design services for these two projects. The entire engineering design services are estimated to take 6-8 months. The development of both sites will be carried out in two turnkey contracts. The objective of this contest for engineering design is to prepare tender documentation for each of these turnkey contests. The assignment comprises engineering design services for the buildings up to the draft project and preliminary project, which will then make up the basis for the function description. The flats must be designed in such a way that contributions from the Norwegian State Housing Bank can be granted. The engineering design group must have the capacity to carry out both projects simultaneously. There will be a lot of focus on both progress and implementation ability.
