Description
The Welsh Water Elan Trust (more commonly known as the Elan Valley Trust) are seeking to appoint a Contractor to carry out the removal of naturally regenerated conifers (excluding scots pine) on two areas of steep hillside in the Elan Valley.The areas form part of Penygarreg and Neuaddfach Farms which are farmed in hand by the Trust. The areas are centred around Grid References SN 917668 and SN 915653.The vision for the Graig Dolfaenog/Dolfolau site is for it to be an area devoid of invasive conifers which will then allow an opportunity for the heath to develop along with natural regeneration by native broadleaved tree species.
