Agency Care Workers in Cumberland Care Services Provider Engagement Session

Description

Cumberland Council is looking to engage with providers with capacity and the required skills to engage agency staff to maintain safe staffing levels, ensure continuity of care, and uphold regulatory obligations. Agency staffing provides flexibility to respond quickly to short-term gaps and helps safeguard the wellbeing of customers when internal resources cannot meet demand. Although the service specification is in the development stage, the Council looks to commission a number of providers to a Framework for the Provision of Agency Staff to support the delivery of Cumberland Care services. Services will be ordered as and when required with no guaranteed delivery or committed spend. As part of the provider engagement session the Council Commissioning Team will discuss the outline commissioning plan, talk through the tender process and commissioning timeline.
