Technical Support on Aviation Emissions and Impact Assessment

Description

This tender focuses on the provision of scientific and technical assistance in the field of aviation emissions to EASA. This assistance will aim particularly at supporting the Agency in various technical work programmes at both the European and international level, including the ICAO Committee on aviation environmental protection (CAEP) and standardisation bodies (e.g. SAE, ISO). Lot 1: The services as may be requested by the Agency under the contract are anticipated to cover the following: 1. technical input to support ongoing discussions within European and international work programmes; 2. technical and administrative tasks within technical working groups. 3. maintenance and calibration activities of the EASA European reference nvPM measurement system; 4. complementary engine emission measurement campaigns as specified by EASA, including measurements with the European reference nvPM system; 5. development and use of models (including machine learning), databases, data streams and studies to perform impact assessments and inform policymaking decisions; 6. other services linked to the subject of the contract.
