Description
EQUANS (formerly know as ENGIE services Ltd) on behalf of North East Lincolnshire Council is seeking suitable qualified contractors for the renewal of its Highways Framework. The framework will enable delivery of the Authority’s annual Local Transport Plan (LTP) programme of work. Projects within this programme of work include Projects within this programme of work include road safety improvement projects, structural repairs, minor reactive maintenance, transportation infrastructure improvements, junction improvements, footway and carriageway resurfacing, and traffic signal replacement works. In addition to the LTP programme the framework will enable the delivery of externally grant funded project such as public realm schemes, regeneration projects, and major infrastructure works and Temporary Traffic Management as part of its planned and reactive Highways works. Lot 42508: North East Lincolnshire Council Highways Framework 2022 - 2026 to be used for framework and non framework tenders Lot 42510: Lot 1 £0 - £50k Minor Civils Work For the delivery of minor maintenance and improvements (bus stop improvements and traffic calming schemes). There will also be an element of reactive emergency damage repair works due to RTC (road traffic collision) damage, although this work will be expected to be undertaken during normal working hours. Lot 42511: Lot 2 £0 -£50k Minor Structural Repairs Various types of minor structural and civils repairs with some small-scale reconstruction works on all associated highway structures, including bridges and highway retaining walls. Undertaking of routine structural maintenance repairs and associated civils works to all types and construction of bridges, culverts, subways and retaining walls. The work will involve routine programmed structural repairs and/or some civil reconstruction work to several small highway structures. Lot 42512: Lot 3 £0 - £250k For the delivery of minor maintenance and new highway improvements schemes. These schemes include junction improvements, road safety improvements, transport facility improvements, footway & carriageway reconstruction and traffic signal works. Lot 42513: Lot 4 Highways Capital Works £250k - £1.5m For the delivery medium to large scale, complex highway schemes, and works off public highway of a similar nature. Works include typical maintenance projects, works such as junction improvements, road safety improvements, transport facility improvements, footway & carriageway reconstruction and traffic signal works. Other works to be included such as public realm where high quality materials such as natural stone footpaths and bespoke street furniture. Lot 42514: Lot 5 Highways Capital Works £1.5m - Above Threshold For the delivery of larger scale, complex highway schemes, and works off highway of a similar nature. Majority of works carried out on this lot are reliant on grant funding. Works range from Highway reconstruction works to major junctions and carriageways, construction of new carriageways and extensive public realm improvements projects utilising high quality and bespoke materials. Lot 42516: Lot 6 Carriageway Resurfacing £0 - £750k For the delivery carriageway maintenance works. Works typically include preparation of carriageway, including carriageway planning and or the adjustment of ironwork. Surfacing and or reconstruction work to be carried out using a variety of bituminous materials. The work may range from an individual site to a programme of work comprising of several sites forming a larger programme of work. Lot 42517: Lot 7 Surface Dressing Term Maintenance For the delivery of surface treatments, including surface dressing, micro asphalt & slurry sealing. Works will also include the preparation of all sites, this includes and not limited to pre-patching of carriageways, weed killing and verge maintenance to footpaths. All works will be carried out as part of an overall programme of work to include several sites. A variety of aggregates and binders will be required to meet the individual characteristics of each site. The contractor is responsible Lot 42518: Lot 8 Temporary Traffic Management To supply, install and maintain the provision of temporary traffic management to facilitate highway schemes or event works. This is to facilitate safe road works, temporary closures or incident management, whilst keeping the traffic flowing as freely as possible.
