Supply of spare parts, components, maintenance & repair services of Traction and SIBAS32 systems to DSB’s S-tog

DSB needs to extend the life time of DSB's current S-train until expectedly 2040, depending on when the new line of S-train fleet is fully operational. DSB is therefore seeking a supplier to keep the Traction and the SIBAS 32 systems on the S-trains fully functional for the operational lifetime extension of the S-train fleet, expectedly until 2040. DSB expects several critical components to be obsolete within a time frame of 18 months, therefore the Supplier must warrant availability of needed components and spare parts from January 2025. DSB expects the contract to be signed leaving time for a mobilization phase of around 12 months. Siemens is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) supplier of the Traction and SIBAS 32 systems to the S-trains. Please be aware, that DSB has limited documentation of the Traction and SIBAS 32 systems. Furthermore, DSB has limited access and rights to relevant protocols and software in relation to the Traction and SIBAS 32 systems. However, DSB will provide access to both systems after prequalification.
