Description
As part of the 'Cleaner Port Bergen' project, measures are planned against a polluted seabed in Store Lungegårdsvann in Bergen. Before the measure is carried out, rubbish must be cleared from the seabed in the areas that are shallower than 15 m (LAT). This contest is for the work involved in removing rubbish from the seabed, bringing it on to land to a certified rigging area, washing/cleaning it, and delivering it for certified final treatment. The cleaning water must be collected and dealt with responsibly, and it must meet the requirements in the licence or Pollution Act. The work must be completed by 1 March 2023. The assignment is subject to government subsidies. The contracting authority has reason to expect that the subsidies will be given, but attention is drawn to the fact that the contest can be cancelled if there are no subsidies for the project. Lot 1: The contract is for cleaning rubbish from the seabed in areas that are shallower than 15 m(LAT). In addition, the tenderer must remove three wrecks that are lying in deeper water. The project has already engaged an outer environment coordinator that will assist the tenderer in the assessment of what is to be removed and what is to remain in place. Two surveys have been carried out that provide information on the amount and type of rubbish that is on the seabed in Store Lungegårdsvann. See the report attached to the tender documentation. The areas that are shallower than 15 m are to be cleared of objects that stick up more than 20 cm from the seabed. Objects that are flatter than 20 cm, but that have an area of more than 1 m2 are also to be removed. Further information on the assignment is described in Annex 1 of the contract. The assignment is part of a larger project and other assignments depend on the rubbish being cleared according to the schedule, and within the frameworks that the site area permits. Progress is therefore important. The contracting authority is positive to new technical solutions for the execution, but the technology must have been previously tested. The assignment is subject to government subsidies. The contracting authority has reason to expect that the subsidies will be given, but attention is drawn to the fact that the contest can be cancelled if subsidies are not given for the project. Tenderers must offer a fixed price for the assignment. In addition prices are to be offered for daywork. See annex 1 of NS 8046 for further details on the assignment.
