South Lanarkshire Council have a requirement for a suitably qualified service provider for the supply and delivery and the calibration and repair of mechanical testing equipment. The purpose of this contract is to provide a compliant and efficient solution for the supply and delivery and the calibration and repair of mechanical testing equipment, ensuring that all equipment remains safe, accurate and fit for purpose, while delivering value for money and supporting service delivery across the Council. Lot 1: South Lanarkshire Council have a requirement for a suitably qualified service provider for the supply and delivery and the calibration and repair of mechanical testing equipment. The purpose of this contract is to provide a compliant and efficient solution for the supply and delivery and the calibration and repair of mechanical testing equipment, ensuring that all equipment remains safe, accurate and fit for purpose, while delivering value for money and supporting service delivery across the Council. This contract will be awarded via the Open Tender procedure based on the most economically advantageous tender (MEAT) criteria under regulation 28 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015 which enables the Council to take account of criteria that reflect qualitative technical aspects of the tender submission as well as price when reaching an awarding decision.
