Enablement Work at Sunderland Ward, South Pembs Hospital

Hywel Dda University Health Board has approved Capital funding from DCP 2020/21 for refurbishment works at the Sunderland Ward at South Pembs Hospital. The Scheme is to be undertaken in three phases of work and sequence of works in parallel – scope of enablement in-line with Architects Drawings DR001 - 002 - 003 -004 Building Work: Removal and strip out of existing ceilings and framework complete, flooring, shelving, replacement of existing window panels. Full refurbishment and enablement works to include new, new flooring system, new ceilings, builders work in connection with foul drainage, full decoration works, new IPS/WHB/WC, base and wall units and installation of groups 2 & 3 equipment items. Mechanical Engineers Installation Work: Disconnecting of medical gasses, plumbing and drainage work including H&CWS installation, modifications to existing radiators, HTM commissioning work. Electrical Engineers Installation Work Removal of all electrical services and associated trunking/conduits/equipment items complete. New lighting, small power, distribution, HTM earthing, fire alarm installation, emergency lighting, warning light and enablement/full commissioning.
