Description
As part of ongoing fire safety improvements to High-rise tower blocks, works will focus on the Refuse Chute areas of blocks managed by Nottingham City Homes. Stage 1 will be the removal and installation of Refuse Hoppers 120 minute Fire Rated Refuse Hoppers designed to BS 1703: 2005 Stage 2 will be the removal and installation of Dampener Plate (Fusible Link) in the Bin Stores to stop the spread of Smoke and Fire through the building in the event of fire within any bin located in the Bin Store.
