Display Case Lighting at The McManus

Leisure & Culture Dundee (LCD) is looking to appoint a qualified and experienced contractor to upgrade the existing display case lighting within the permanent galleries of The McManus: Dundee's Art Gallery & Museum. Lot 1: The successful contractor shall provide a complete lighting solution that: Improves the visitor experience and accessibility through the provision of consistent, appropriate and controllable light levels within gallery and display areas. Minimises the risk of damage to light-sensitive collections through the application of appropriate lighting design principles, controls and conservation standards. Reduces energy consumption and associated carbon emissions in support of Dundee City Council's Climate Action Plan. Provides a durable, reliable and low-maintenance installation with a long operational lifespan. Integrates sensitively within existing display cases and gallery environments, preserving the character and appearance of the museum and its collections.
