Drainage and surface works

Description

The aim of the procurement is to restore previously excavated bogs with an excavator. The bogs will be restored by building dams of autochthonous peat and sealing ditches with peat, bushes and trees on site. Other materials such as road cloth, wooden materials or plastic wires will be used in special cases. Each individual assignment agreement will specify the material and method that are to be used. The contract covers Oppland, Hedmark, Akershus, Østfold, Oslo, Buskerud and Vestfold counties. The number of assignments in the period 2017-2018 is expected to be between 20 and 30, but this will depend on annual grants from the Norwegian Parliament. The size of the assignments will also vary, from a few hundred metres with ditches that shall be sealed to tens of kilometres that shall be sealed in each assignment. The excavators that shall be used in the work must have good load carrying capacity, beyond that what is normal in the construction industry.
