Description

This tender is to establish a framework agreement for the supply of Pressure Area Care (PAC) equipment and services in addition to Safe Patient Moving and Handling equipment and services. The framework will provide a comprehensive range of products for use within the acute care, long term care/nursing homes and home care/community, accessed either by a rental model, rent to buy or capital purchase. Further to the aforementioned products, the services within the scope of this procurement exercise cover decontamination, repair, maintenance, planned preventative maintenance and managed equipment service and other services related to the project. Lot 1: Medical Beds & Associated Services Lot 1 will include medical beds. Tenderers will also be expected to provide decontamination, repair and maintenance services. Products within this Lot will include but is not limited to: • Hospital ward beds, low height beds, floor level beds, paediatric beds, • Community beds for care home and out of hospital use • Infant cots/cribs • Junior beds • Profiling beds • Associated products TERMS AND CONDITIONS / ACTIVITY BASED INCOME (ABI). Lot 4: Bariatric Solutions Lot 4 is for the provision of bariatric equipment suitable for the needs of patients who exceed the safe working load and dimensions of standard equipment. The scope of the agreement will include aiding the transport and support moving of patients and may be used in either a hospital, residential or patient home environment. The framework will include (but is not limited) to the following items: • Hoists / Patient Lifts • Standing Aids (both manual and electric) • Bathing Equipment • Transfer Equipment (Slings, Slide Sheets, Inflatable Devices) • Safe Patient Moving and Handling Managed Services. Lot 12: Lot 12 - Aggregated Lot Lot 12 facilitates the provision to permit Participating Authorities to tailor bespoke products and service specification to accommodate their requirements and contractually commit in advance to purchasing a specified value and/or volume of their requirements. Under this Lot the Participating Authority(ies) will define their requirement for goods and/or services which can be in any combination of more than one Lot of the Framework Agreement. All successful suppliers will be automatically awarded to this Lot. The procurement exercise will be open to all awarded suppliers.
