Contract award: Artificial intelligence in diagnostic imaging for VV HF

Vestre Viken Hospital Trust (Norwegian: Vestre Viken HF) would like to procure artificial intelligence for diagnostic imaging as the number of heavy diagnostic imaging examinations are increasing by 5-10% a year. There is a need to achieve more sustainable management of this development. The aims of this procurement is to implement an artificial intelligence system for diagnostic imaging (AI system) in the company's operation and to evaluate what gains can be achieved. The procurement applies to Vestre Viken Hospital Trust. Option entering into the contract for other health trusts in South Eastern Norway Regional Health Authority, as the University Hospital Trust of North Norway. Lot 1: The following fields related to diagnostic imaging may be relevant for the introduction of artificial intelligence: 1. CT Thorax a) Lung nodules b) Pulmonary embolism 2. MR caput - MS follow-ups 3. Conventional x-ray a) Skeleton x-ray b) Chest x-ray The estimated value during a four year agreement period is NOK 15 million. The maximum value of the framework agreement is approx. NOK 100 million for the same period.
