Grass Cutting - Kemble & Ewen Parish

Description

The contract is for 3 years, from March 2024 until the end of October 2026. Areas to be cut are highlighted on the map and consist of various grass roadside verges in Kemble and Ewen; the West Hay Green; the Churchyard the Cemetery and Windmill Park playing field/playground in Kemble. To accurately assess the areas to be cut, the Parish Council strongly suggest potential contractors walk the villages to see the area. Mowed areas must be cut 14 times per annum (roughly fortnightly) to take place within the growing season between March and October. The cemetery to include weed control along the central footpath. The drainage ditch on the north side of the A429 near the traffic lights to be cut once a year. Payment will be made monthly by B.A.C.S, in arrears, on receipt of invoice. The tender price quoted must cover all three years. Prospective Contractors should note that the Council is not bound to accept the lowest tender. The Council's decision is final.
