The 2 climate chambers will be part of the essential equipment infrastructure establishing the research group of tenure-track assistant professor Peter Refsing Andersen at the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, Aarhus University. These chambers will enable the husbandry and experimentation with both standard and very sensitive drosophila (fruit fly) strain and will be essential for the productivity of the newly established lab. Given room constraints and special requirements of the drosophila animal strains the chambers require special specifications.
