Description

Oslo municipality c/o the Department of Urban Development hereafter called the contracting authority, invites tenderers to an open tender contest for the procurement of a small logging machine. The contracting authority is responsible for the planning, development, management and operation of municipal urban spaces in Oslo. The urban spaces include common areas such as roads and streets, squares, meeting places, parks and recreational areas. The areas of responsibility also include municipal sports centres, swimming pools, outdoor swimming pools, recreational installations and municipal landscape areas in fields and inner Oslo fjord. The Forestry and Landscape Department in the Agency for Urban Environment runs its own operations in all the areas in the uncultivated land and on the islands There is a need for managing Oslo municipality's areas actively in accordance with the multiple-management plan's goals and guidelines. There is a considerable need for initial deforestation of spruces and pines. The contracting authority requires this service to be conducted in a sustainable and careful manner in relation to minimum impact on the public and minimum risk of damaging the terrain. The contracting authority therefore needs to procure a small logging machine.
