Salesforce Renewal

Description

This contract is intended to be directly awarded to Salesforce UK Limited, under the Procurement Act 2023, Schedule 5, paragraph 7, Additional or repeat goods, services or works of the Procurement Act 2023. 7. The public contract concerns the supply of goods, services or works by the existing supplier which are intended as an extension to, or partial replacement of, existing goods, services or works in circumstances where- (a)a change in supplier would result in the contracting authority receiving goods, services or works that are different from, or incompatible with, the existing goods, services or works, and (b)the difference or incompatibility would result in disproportionate technical difficulties in operation or maintenance. The contracting authority currently operates a Salesforce Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform that underpins key business processes. Salesforce holds exclusive intellectual property rights over its proprietary CRM Platform and associated services. No other supplier can provide access to or support for the Salesforce ecosystem. This proposed renewal includes continued support, integration and growth of our existing Salesforce implementation. Engaging a new supplier would result in the contracting authority receiving goods or services that are incompatible with the existing Salesforce platform, creating disproportionate technical difficulties and incompatibility in operation and maintenance. ## Contract award Title: Salesforce Renewal
