Hull and mechanical spare parts for warships. Constructive equipment. Maritime Equipment Systems has a future requirement for the supply, manufacture, repair, and provision of technical assistance services for a wide and diverse range of “marinised” constructive equipment used onboard Royal Navy and Royal Fleet Auxiliary vessels. The requirement will cover general and heavy duty constructive equipment (to include but not necessarily limited to mooring, anchoring, upper deck safety, lifting and observation equipment). It will require the successful candidate to demonstrate competence and experience with the manufacture, repair and, in some instances, testing of constructive equipment. This will include the requirements associated with the Low Magnetic Equipment required by the Mine Counter Measures (MCM) Flotilla. The equipment will include, but is not necessarily limited to: — Replenish At Sea (RAS) Equipment, — Guardrails, Stanchions and Safety Nets, — Hangar Doors, — Non Slip Treads, — Bridge Windows, — Bridge Window Wipers, — Covers and Screens, — Ladders, — Accommodation Ladders, — Brows, — Upper deck Lifelines, — Ceremonial Equipment, — Upperdeck Fixtures / Fittings, — Side, Stern and Internal Ramps, — Link Plates, — Upperdeck and Ammunition Lockers, — Engineering and Infrastructure Support to RAS Rig at HMS Raleigh, including high level maintenance, testing and legislative compliance. Contract requirements may include but not be limited to the following services and supply: — project management, — post design services, — provision of spares and consumables, — repairs of spares and components, — overhaul of equipment and sub-assemblies, — provision of reactive engineering support, — rationalisation of spares lists, — obsolescence management, — training. The contract may contain lists of items that will only require pricing during the duration of the contract when ordered by the Authority. Suppliers wishing to express an interest in this requirement are required to complete and submit a Pre-Qualification Questionnaire to confirm their suitability including a copy of their accredited 3rd Party (or Government Issued) Quality Management System (QMS) certification which includes an appropriate scope to meet the requirement.
