Provision of Theatre Space Hire

City of Glasgow College is undertaking early market engagement in relation to the provision of external rehearsal and theatre space hire to support Creative Industries (Drama) programme delivery. The requirement includes rehearsal space, access to a working theatre environment, and supporting facilities, with availability aligned to academic timetables. Lot 1: City of Glasgow College is undertaking early market engagement in relation to the provision of external rehearsal and theatre space hire to support delivery of its Creative Industries programmes. The requirement is expected to include access to: Rehearsal space suitable for acting, movement and physical theatre A working theatre/performance environment for student productions and assessed performances Supporting facilities including dressing/changing areas and back-of-house space. The space must be capable of accommodating cohorts of approximately 40 students and be available on a recurring basis across the academic year, aligned with teaching timetables. This includes regular weekly bookings and additional periods of intensive use for productions and performances (approximately 7 per academic year). Due to operational constraints, the College is particularly interested in venues located within reasonable proximity to its City Campus in Glasgow City Centre, or solutions that minimise travel time and avoid disruption to teaching delivery. The College currently utilises external venues due to limitations in internal space availability and suitability..
