Provision of Events Equipment and Services

City of Glasgow College is preparing to re-tender its Events Equipment and Services contract, which includes the hire of AV and staging equipment along with the provision of technical staff. The contract will support a wide range of events delivered across the College’s City and Riverside Campuses, as well as at external venues in Glasgow, including key occasions such as graduation ceremonies. Events will vary in scale from small internal functions to large institutional events requiring full technical production support, with a need for a flexible and responsive service throughout the academic year. Lot 1: City of Glasgow College is re-tendering its contract for the provision of events equipment and technical delivery services. The contract is expected to support a range of events of varying size and complexity, including internal College events, external stakeholder engagements, and large-scale institutional functions. Delivery may take place across a range of venues, including external event spaces across the Glasgow region, which may be subject to specific technical, access, and operational requirements. The College anticipates a flexible delivery model combining equipment hire and technical support services, with the ability to scale resources in line with demand and respond to short lead times where required. The College is currently exploring procurement options, including whether to structure the requirement as a single contract or divided into lots. As part of this PIN, the College welcomes engagement from the market to inform the final procurement strategy, including feedback on delivery models, scalability, and innovation.
