Data Governance and Data Intelligence SaaS Platform

Description

A standalone, cloud-based Data Governance and Data Intelligence platform that enables the Council to discover, index, catalogue and classify data held across its systems and data sources. The solution will provide improved visibility and understanding of organisational data, including metadata, data ownership, sensitivity and classification, supporting effective data governance, security, compliance and the responsible use of data. Lot 1: Clackmannanshire Council seeks to procure a cloud-based Data Governance Platform and associated services to provide enterprise-wide visibility, classification, and lifecycle management of information assets across its digital estate. The solution must be capable of securely connecting to and analysing data held across multiple systems, including on-premise shared drives, Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Outlook), legacy platforms such as Lotus Notes, and key line-of-business systems. It will be required to discover, index, and catalogue both structured and unstructured data, identify sensitive information (including personally identifiable information), and support the application of retention and disposal policies. The platform must also enhance the Authority’s ability to respond to statutory information requests by enabling efficient search, retrieval, review, redaction, and export of relevant data.
