As part of preparing the evidence base for the Local Plan Review, the Council seeks to commission consultants to undertake the preparation of various evidence-based studies which together will provide the Council with a robust understanding of housing and employment requirements for the district. Exploring these matters will consist of 4 separate studies: A: Lancaster District Gypsy & Travelling Showpeople Accommodation Assessment (GTAA) – which is the subject of this brief. B: Lancaster District Strategic Housing Market Assessment (SHMA). C: Establishing the Housing Requirement for Lancaster District. D: Lancaster District Employment Land Review.
