This is an award notice for a lead contractor to help deliver ASHP’s to approximately 300 households across Shropshire. Installs are to run from December 2023 to 31st March 2025 with a potential 12 month extension until 31st March 2026. Lot 1: Shropshire Council has secured Home Upgrade Grant (HUG) phase 2 funding to support the installation of a number of energy efficiency measures to homes across the County. The HUG scheme aims to raise the energy efficiency of low-income and low EPC rated homes, delivering progress towards: reducing fuel poverty, the phasing out of high carbon fossil fuel heating and the UK's commitment to net zero by 2050. Measures will be delivered across all housing tenures, with a focus on the private sector. As well as energy efficiency upgrades (fabric measures), the scheme supports the delivery of Clean Heat measures.
