PMCV 027 - Direct Supply Nicotine Replacement Therapy

The Healthy Lives Stop Smoking Service Team within Shropshire Council supports tobacco smokers to quit smoking. As part of the support offer, the service will directly supply licenced Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) products. This is a tender to supply a range of licenced NRT products to the Shropshire HLSSS. These products will then be used to support a Service User's stop smoking quit attempt. Initially, the products include those listed in Schedule 2, however the Council may decide to amend this list in line with Service User preference. Orders will be placed as and when required, consistent with the needs of the Shropshire HLSSS. This means that order size may vary from minimum order of £500 to maximum £50,000 and the Contractor is expected to be able to fulfil this need in a timely manner, ideally within one week of an Order being placed and in accordance with the terms of this Agreement. It is anticipated that most deliveries will be required to be made to the Delivery Location. If orders are to be delivered to different locations, the address of the Premises will be stipulated in the Order. Direct supply to increase service users' access to NRT with a potential grant budget of £400K across the 4 years of the contract. It is anticipated that a significant order will be placed in Qtr 4 2024-25, and future orders will be linked to grant allocation (currently £100k per year) and service user levels.
