Construction of Surfaced Perimeter Path / Exercise Track

Description

Much Wenlock Town Council invites tenders for the construction of a Perimeter Path / Exercise Track at the Gaskell Recreation Ground, Station Road, Much Wenlock, Shropshire. The Gaskell Recreation Ground is a public open space which includes a cricket pitch, football pitch, bowling club and children's play area. There is a secondary school adjacent to the Recreation Ground. The path is to be approximately 540m long and 2m wide for the majority of its length (see specification), with a preferred top surface of soft pour. Further details are contained within the Invitation to Tender and Specification. The specified works may be started as soon as possible after the contract is awarded but must be completed and invoiced by 31st May 2020. Completed tenders must be received at Much Wenlock Town Council office by 12.00 noon on Wednesday, 19th February 2020.
